Lakeside Eats and Beats: Fat Boys Makes Waves at Hidden Harbor
Starting its third season, Fat Boys restaurant at Hidden Harbor Marina is quickly becoming a favorite hangout at Hidden Harbor Marina.
Owned by longtime marina residents Dale and Kesha Davenport, this vibrant new bar and restaurant offers an inviting lakeside atmosphere with stunning views through garage-style doors that open onto a spacious deck overlooking the lake, boats, and surrounding mountains.

Open Friday through Sunday from May to October, Fat Boys serves a variety of casual menu favorites. Diners can enjoy appetizers like wings, cheese sticks, and jalapeño poppers, as well as hearty meals including pizzas, chicken fingers, hamburgers, hotdogs and an assortment of sandwiches — from fried bologna to chicken bacon paninis.
The full bar features an extensive cocktail menu, highlighted by the popular Center Hill Lake Frozen Bushwhacker, a delicious blend of Kahlua, spiced rum, and coconut served frozen. Much of Fat Boys’ rustic charm comes from the creative use of recycled local wood incorporated in the renovations of the space, reflecting the owners’ connection to the marina community where they have lived on a houseboat for 25 years.
Adding to the lively atmosphere, Friday and Saturday nights may feature karaoke, open mic events, and live music, making it a perfect destination for both locals and visitors.
Boat docks are available for patrons arriving by water, welcoming boaters to drop in for a meal or take food onboard and enjoy it while cruising.
Fat Boys is an exciting addition to the marina, combining great food, drinks, and entertainment in a stunning lakeside setting.
